Cards
Virtual cards, top-ups from Checking, spend limits, Visa, and fees — user-focused guide.
Your Echlon card
Echlon cards are issued via a licensed card partner and run on the Visa network. Cards are usable worldwide wherever that network is accepted.
Cards have their own separate balance that you top up from your checking account. This means you control exactly how much is available on cards — your full checking balance is never directly exposed to card spend.
How cards work
Create virtual cards instantly from your dashboard. Top up the card balance from checking, then use it immediately for online purchases, subscriptions, advertising spend, and SaaS payments. Virtual cards are ideal for managing recurring spend, separating expenses by category or vendor, and giving team members controlled access to funds.
Spend controls
Every card comes with granular controls:
- Set spend limits per card (daily, weekly, or monthly)
- Lock or cancel any card instantly from your dashboard
- Real-time notifications for every transaction
- Expense tracking and reporting
Card fees
| Item | Fee |
|---|---|
| USD-denominated spend | No fee |
| Non-USD transactions | Up to 2% foreign exchange fee |
| Monthly maintenance | No fee |
