Add to Apple Pay (iPhone)

- Choose to add a card.
- Enter your Echlon card details manually.
- Complete the verification step (choose email).
- Enter the code sent to your registered email address.
- Done!
- Repeat on Apple Watch via the Watch app if needed.
Add to Google Pay / Google Wallet (Android)
- Open Google Wallet and tap Add to Wallet → Payment card.
- Enter your Echlon card details manually.
- Complete the verification step (choose email).
- Set Google Wallet as your default tap-to-pay app in Android settings if prompted.
Verification during provisioning
When you add a card, the card network verifies it's really you. You may be asked to confirm a one-time code - select email as the verification method to receive the code.
Why this happens: failed provisioning
Common reasons adding a card fails:
- Card not active — locked, expired, or not yet activated cards can't be provisioned.
- Details mismatch — typo in the card number, expiry, or CVV, or a name mismatch.
- Verification not completed — the one-time code expired.
- Region or device limits — Apple Pay and Google Pay availability varies by country, and devices have a maximum number of cards.
Troubleshooting
- Remove any failed/half-added instance of the card from the wallet before retrying.
- If verification codes never arrive, check your contact details in Echlon and try again.
- Still failing? Contact support with the device type, wallet (Apple/Google), and the exact error shown.
Common questions
Does paying by phone use my card balance the same way?
Yes. Apple Pay and Google Pay are just a different way to present the same card — the card balance, spend controls, and lock status all apply identically.
Can I add the same card to multiple devices?
Yes. You can add your card to multiple supported devices, subject to any security checks or limits that may apply.
What happens if I lock my card?
If you lock your card, payments made through Apple Pay and Google Pay will also be blocked. Any card controls, spending limits, or restrictions applied to your card automatically apply to your digital wallet as well.
